Meet Dr. Jamie Laing
Dr. Jamie Laing knew she wanted to become a chiropractor when she discovered that animals could get adjusted. At the age of 14, Dr. Jamie began working at Whitemud Crossing Chiropractors as a Chiropractic Assistant. Over the years, she learned more about chiropractic care, about the innate intelligence of the human body, and about the importance of being well and staying well. To say the least, she became very passionate about Chiropractic, and health and wellness.
Chiropractic Education
With a background in Kinesiology and Personal Training, Dr. Jamie ventured down South, to San Francisco, California to pursue her dreams. She graduated Suma Cum Laude from Life Chiropractic College West in 2020.
While in school, Dr. Jamie became very interested in Upper Cervical Chiropractic. She understands that the top two bones of the spine need to be articulating and moving properly in order to ensure the health of the entire nervous system and the entire spine below. She has studied Upper Cervical Chiropractic care extensively to perfect her skills in analyzing and adjusting the upper cervical complex. Although the upper cervical complex is her focus, she also utilizes many other chiropractic techniques such as Activator Technique and Drop Table.
Chiropractic for Everyone
Dr. Jamie loves taking care of anyone, and everyone. She understands that each individual is unique and no two bodies, or nervous systems, are the same; each individual requires a different approach with chiropractic care. She knows how important it is to ensure that each individual receives the best possible care for their body, and their nervous system, and is incredibly happy to be joining a team of chiropractors with a wide variety of skills and experiences. She is striving to spread the message of holistic health and well- being.
The Equestrian’s Chiropractor
Dr. Jamie is an avid horseback rider (dressage & hunter jumper) and loves to take care of fellow equestrians. Nervous system focused chiropractic care improves body awareness, and strength and stability while in the saddle allowing for a better connection between rider and horse. She believes that horseback riding is a partnership and taking care of your health and wellbeing is the best thing you can do for your horse. “I help connect rider to self and horse.” – Dr. Jamie
Outside of Office
